Don't miss this culinary extravaganza -- meet some of this country's greatest chefs, winemakers and the creators of world wide craft beers, trappist ales and organic beer. The Grand Tasting showcases the finest wines, an extensive variety of boutique ales in addition to wine related accessories. Regional, national, and international suppliers pour over 600 varieties and producers offer personal commentary, answer questions, and provide information on their wines, vineyard tours and pricing. Distinctive New England restaurateurs will be on hand to offer signature-tasting portions for a minimal charge.

The DACOR Culinary Event Stage features an extraordinary array of programs with appearances by Internationally Celebrated Chefs and World Renowned Wine Experts. Be entertained and learn from some of the best --- Robert Irvine, host of Dinner: Impossible on the Food Network, Mary Ann Esposito, Chef and Host of Ciao Italia on PBS and the charismatic Chef Todd English to name a few.  

On Saturday the 5th Annual Chef Showdown, presented by Contessa Premium Foods and Hatfield Quality Meats, will pit two of the most talented and creative chefs in the region against each other for cash, prizes and bragging rights!
Also on Saturday -- watch and learn from a pro how to make your own seasonal cocktails with a presentation by Skyy Infusions.

Seminars

An impressive line-up of wine, spirit & ale experts will host seminars in the private dining rooms of the restaurants throughout Mohegan Sun.   Attendees will have the opportunity to taste some exceptional vintages and learn from some of the industry’s best.

	This immensely popular evening begins with a Champagne Reception hosted by Moet & Chandon in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center.  Assembled in the Uncas Ballroom are some of the hottest chefs in the country cooking and serving their signature dishes to guests.  The Dine Around offers guests the chance to meet these culinary greats up close.  Each dish is expertly paired with a premium wine, spirit or world craft beer.  Last year sold out so don’t wait to purchase your tickets!

Sunday brings another exciting line-up of celebrity chefs demonstrating some of their favorite recipes.  The day culminates with our 6th Annual Oyster Open presented by Bud Light.  The very best shuckers from across the country will meet again to compete for a 5,000 purse, the Mohegan Sun Oyster Open trophy belt and the ultimate prize -- bragging rights!
