WINEFEST '05 - A SHOW TO REMEMBER!
Sun
WineFest debuted at Mohegan Sun in January
2004 to a sell-out crowd of nearly 10,000 attendees
and over 200 exhibitors. Designed for both the wine
aficionado and the novice, the 3-day exposition is
ideal for those that wish to expand their knowledge
of fine wine, experience more varieties and educate
their palettes. Mohegan
Sun is a convenient and exciting destination from
all across New England and New York.
The
main event, the Grand Tasting, takes place in the
Convention Center’s 40,000 square foot Uncas
Ballroom and features the sampling of over 900 fine
wines provided by international experts, winemakers
and importers. Distinctive restaurants are chosen
from throughout the region to offer signature tasting
portions for a minimal charge and other culinary related
displays are included. A state-of-the-art Demonstration
Stage features presentations by our country’s
best celebrity chefs and other special events while
a series of interesting and enjoyable seminars
are available to choose from.
